About the house
Two bottles. No shortcuts.
Rafbré is a small perfume house working in exactly two scents — one for her, one for him — because we'd rather make two things properly than ten things adequately.
How it started
A question we couldn't stop asking.
It began with a smaller question than a brand plan: what does wanting someone actually smell like? Most fragrances answer that with fruit and sugar. We wanted something closer to the feeling itself — rose that means business, leather that means restraint.
So instead of building a catalogue, we built two formulas and refused to move on until each one earned its name. Deewangi took eleven attempts before the oud stopped fighting the rose. Charm took nine before the leather note stopped smelling borrowed.
Two scents, built the slow way.
How a bottle gets made
From note to bottle, in four stages.
Sourcing by note, not by blend
We buy raw materials, not ready-made accords — Turkish rose from Isparta, Assam oud, Haitian vetiver — and test each shipment before it earns a place in a formula.
Blending at 20–25% concentration
Both fragrances are mixed at true eau de parfum strength, so they develop in stages on skin instead of announcing themselves once and fading within the hour.
Six weeks to rest
Every batch macerates in the dark before it's ever filled. Rushing this step is the single most common way a fragrance is ruined — it's also the easiest step to skip, so we don't.
Filled, checked, and wrapped by hand
Each bottle is filled and capped individually, checked against the reference batch, then boxed in lacquer red or matte black with a hand-tied ribbon before it ships.
What we won't compromise on
Three rules the house doesn't break.
-
Two, not twenty
We will not launch a third scent to chase a trend. If it isn't better than Deewangi or Charm, it doesn't get made.
-
Nothing thinned for margin
Concentration, rest time, and raw material quality are the first things cut to save cost. They're the last things we'll touch.
-
Made to be given, not just worn
Every bottle is boxed as if it's a gift, because for a lot of our customers, it is.
Come smell it before you buy it.
We keep a small counter for anyone who wants to test both scents before choosing. No appointment needed — just come by during opening hours.
